We, as Information Security Team in Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, have endeavored to follow the directions of the wise leadership to support the vision of the United Arab Emirates and its national agenda and Government of Ajman locally in 2021 by building a strategy and program for information security in the Department consistent with the Government’s strategy for security and Fourth industrial revaluation consist of : artificial intelligence techniques, Autonomous Systems , Robots, Internet of things and many more. As well as the application of international and local best practices and standards to provide secure cyber space, given the increased levels of risk and security attacks in recent years and the rapid development of technologies and the technology used to support and sustain the business. Moreover, raising awareness Level of all those People involved in information and digital security risks and working on building their capabilities to manage and reduce those risks.

We have worked on the development of appropriate technical, administrative and human controls to maintain the confidentiality, credibility, availability and privacy of information.

Innovation is an important element in increasing the level of digital and information security. Emphasis has been placed on ensuring the continuity and availability of IT Services, building proper strategies and response plans for accidents, emergencies, disasters and crises.

We must not forget the role of local and international partnerships in helping us to comply to all relevant local and international legislative and regulatory institutions, As well as collaborating with the pioneers in the field to keep abreast of modern technologies that are considered to be the most important supporting elements

With the support of the wise leadership, the department obtained the ISO 27001: 2013 certificate for Information Security Management System and ISO 20000-1: 2011 certificate for Service Management System applicable to smart service development department as a first phase. The program was named “Aman” . All departments of Ajman Municipality will be included in the scope of Aman Program in later stages.
